Hanes No Wedgie Underwear

Well,

I know for most of us, our underwear is a sensitive and private issue - but today I'm putting it all out there. A few months ago I was mesmerized by the promises of wedgie free underwear from Hanes, so since there's an outlet by my house - I figured - what the hey - I'll give it a whirl.

And so I did. I was enjoying the underwear for a few weeks but to be perfectly honest - after a few washes, they just don't hold up. The elasticity dissapears and they start falling down off your butt.

To be true - there are no wedgies, so their claims are honest and correct - but what about your underwear falling down?? That's a bigger issue than a wedgie if I do say so myself.

Two thumbs down.

The Big Move

So as of October 1st, I'll be living in a new apartment! I couldn't be happier - it's taken me almost a year to find a suitable apartment - and that's a LOT of time and energy. I broke down in March/April and hired myself a realtor so that I could stop going bonkers online looking at craigslist and the like every night - it was becoming a second job that I quickly came to despise. And let's not even count all of those wasted hours I spent going to look at crap holes, after work and not getting home until after 9 PM, the amount of time I've wasted over the past year - would have added up to thousands of extra dollars if I had spent that time delivering pizza's or serving dinners instead... what a waste.

But, alas, all is not lost - in May, my realtor found me an amazing apartment with acceptable rent and in an ideal location. I've been waiting for the tenants to move out so that I can move in ALL SUMMER. October 1 - they are out, and I AM IN!

So I've spent the past few weeks packing up, shopping and organizing for the big move. I have a lot of stuff it seems. Although if you had asked me 6 months ago, I would have told you that I had barely any things.... funny.

I'm shopping for things like coffee pots, toaster ovens, dishes, etc... if anyone has any great tips on cheap stuff or things they don't want anymore - let me know!

Otherwise - I'm looking forward to the Sunday circulars and Khol's coupons.

Ciao,
J

No I'm Not Dead!

No, I'm not dead - just extremely busy at work and I was experimenting with white wines for the first time this past weekend... I don't think my body accepts the changes.

I'll be back soon!
